Where are you, exactly? +
We're a drive-thru hut at 3208 Spenard Road in Anchorage, right next to the Carousel Lounge. Pull up to the window — or walk up if you're in the neighborhood.
What are your hours? +
Monday through Friday 6 AM–4 PM, Saturday 8 AM–3 PM, and Sunday 9 AM–2 PM. We're open later in the afternoon than a lot of Spenard spots — handy for your post-lunch cup.
What coffee do you use? +
We pour Kaladi Brothers Trieste — the Italian-inspired flagship blend from Alaska's original roaster, roasting in Anchorage since 1986. Caramel, dark chocolate, a touch of smoke.
What's the monthly menu about? +
Every month our baristas create a brand-new lineup of limited-time drinks — themed flavors, cold foams, popping pearls, the works — plus a fresh Whip of the Month. New drinks drop on the 1st and are gone when the month ends. Follow us on Instagram or Facebook to see each one.
Do you have dairy-free and sugar-free options? +
Yes! Oat milk, sugar-free syrups, extra or fewer shots, iced or blended — just tell your barista how you like it. We love a custom order.
Can I order ahead or get delivery? +
Absolutely. Order directly through Toast for window pickup, or get it delivered via DoorDash and GrubHub. Uber Eats is coming soon.
Do you take cards? What about big bills? +
We take cards and the usual digital payments. For everyone's safety we keep very little cash on hand, so we're unable to break $50 or $100 bills — sorry about that!
Do you do catering or events? +
We'd love to. A mobile trailer for pop-ups around Anchorage is in the works — reach out through our contact page or send us a message and let's talk.
Is Spenard Grinds locally owned? +
Through and through. We're owned by Amarin Pokrivnak — an Anchorage native, Calista shareholder with family roots in Crooked Creek, and the only Alaska Native–owned coffee hut on Spenard Road.
